I joined St. Peter’s Kindergarten in 2014 as the Educational Leader and the 4YO Group Teacher.I hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and have been an Early Childhood Educator for 18 years.

I have worked mainly in Kindergartens, with some experience in Child Care, Primary Schools and children with special needs.

I am passionate about guiding and teaching children to develop their independence, self-esteem, and confidence to best reach their potential and increase their desire to learn.

I enjoy quality time with my family and three children, good food and movies.

In October 2016, I joined the team at St Peter's Kindergarten as the 4YO Early Childhood Educator.

Having a background in an early intervention special school for Autism for the last 6 years, I have a passion for treating children as individuals and helping them learn by being connected to community, family and a nurturing environment.

I hold a Certificate III in Children's Services and have completed a certificate in Integration Aide, and have recently enjoyed working in a community centre holiday program.

In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, photography, walking and spending time with my husband and two daughters.

MonicaI joined St. Peter’s Kindergarten in 2015 as the 3 YO Group Teacher.

I hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and have been an Early Childhood Educator since 1990. Since that time I have worked in many different areas of the profession, including sessional kindergarten and long day care; as well as “Bush Kinder” and more recently, outside school hours care with primary school aged children.

Teaching kindergarten is the only thing I ever wanted to do, since I was a child myself, so it is more than just a job. I truly believe all children have within them the potential to be remarkable, and as adults we have as much (or more) to learn from them as they do from us. It is a joy for me to support them in their exploration and discovery, and I am honoured to have the privilege of sharing in the joy of learning.

I love to travel, but there are still many places in the world I am yet to see – highlight so far: - Antarctica; top of wishlist: - Galapagos Islands. I love living in the city but need to get out in nature as much as possible – even if it is just taking my puppy to the park. I am part of a large family, and so getting together and sharing food and good times is also high on my list of favourite things.

Since 2011 I have been a volunteer carer for Seeing Eye Dogs Australia. This involves taking on a gorgeous Labrador puppy from around 8 weeks of age until between 12 and 15 months. My job is basic obedience and socialization of the puppy, who comes with me as I go about my everyday life. As well as being really good for the puppy to have regular contact with children, it has also been wonderful for the children.

LuThis is my second year at St Peters kindergarten. Before I came to Australia, I was a teacher in China for 4 years. I like children, and enjoy working with children.

I completed my Diploma of Children's Service last year. I have a little baby named Frank.
